Walking
If you are in downtown Sparks, start by heading west on E Victorian Ave towards N 9th St. Continue straight until you reach N 9th St and turn right. Walk north until you reach E 4th St, then turn left. Follow E 4th St until you reach the intersection with N Virginia St. Cross over to N Virginia St and continue walking north for about 2 miles. The Nevada Historical Society will be on your left at 1650 N Virginia St.
Public Transit
From downtown Sparks, walk to the nearest bus stop at E Victorian Ave and N 9th St. Take the RTC (Regional Transportation Commission) Bus Route 12 towards Reno. Get off at the stop at N Virginia St and E 16th St. From there, walk north on N Virginia St for about 0.3 miles. The Nevada Historical Society will be on your left at 1650 N Virginia St.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Sparks. Start at the Sparks Marina Park and head east on the bike path until you reach N McCarran Blvd. Turn left and continue on the bike lane until you reach N Virginia St. Turn right and continue biking north for about 2 miles. The Nevada Historical Society will be on your left at 1650 N Virginia St.
