Getting There

  • Bus

    From Sparks, head to the nearest bus stop at 4th Street and C Street. Take the RTC bus route 5 towards Reno. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop at 4th Street and Virginia Street in Reno. Transfer to bus route 1 towards Carson City. Continue on this bus for about 45 minutes until you reach the Carson City transit center. From there, it’s a short walk to the Visitors Center at 716 N Carson St # A, which is just a block away. Head north on Carson Street, and you will find the center on your right.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer biking, start at the Sparks Marina Park and head south on Marina Gateway. Turn left onto 4th Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Virginia Street. Take a right on Virginia Street and follow it south until you reach Carson City. As you approach, merge onto N Carson Street. The Visitors Center will be on your left at 716 N Carson St # A.

    For those who enjoy walking, start at the Sparks city center. Walk south on Victorian Avenue until you reach 4th Street. Turn left onto 4th Street and follow it to Virginia Street. Turn right onto Virginia Street and continue until you reach the Carson City transit center. From there, you can walk north on Carson Street for about 10 minutes to reach the Visitors Center at 716 N Carson St # A.
