Car
If you are driving, start from downtown Reno, NV. Head north on I-580 N for about 15 miles. Take exit 66 for NV-431 toward Mt. Rose Highway. Continue on NV-431 for approximately 14 miles until you reach the junction with NV-28. Turn right onto NV-28 and follow the signs for Sand Harbor. The park entrance will be on your left at 2005 NV-28, Incline Village, NV 89452. Be mindful that there is an entrance fee of $10 per vehicle.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take RTC buses from Reno to Incline Village. You can catch the bus at the RTC 4th Street Station. Ride the 19 Incline Village Express, which operates seasonally, and make sure to check the schedule for the latest timings. Once you arrive in Incline Village, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service for the short distance to Sand Harbor, as there is no direct bus service to the park. Be prepared for additional costs for the taxi or rideshare.
Shuttle Service
Some local hotels and resorts may offer shuttle services to Sand Harbor. Check with your accommodation in Incline Village to see if they provide this service. If available, this is a convenient option to avoid parking fees and the hassle of driving.
