Car
From Baie des Citrons, head southeast on Avenue de la Victoire towards Route de l'Anse Vata. Continue on Route de l'Anse Vata, then take a right onto Route de la Baie des Citrons. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Route du Mont-Dore. Turn left onto Route du Mont-Dore and continue driving for approximately 15-20 minutes. You will see signs pointing towards Sommet Du Mont-Dore. There is parking available near the base of the hiking trail.

Start at Baie des Citrons and take the local bus towards Mont-Dore. The bus stop is located near the beach. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings. After approximately 30-40 minutes, get off at the Mont-Dore stop. From there, you may need to walk or take a taxi to the base of Sommet Du Mont-Dore, which is about a 15-minute walk or a short taxi ride. Be prepared for a slight incline as you approach the hiking trail.
