Car
If you're driving from central Canala, head south on Route Territoriale 1 (RT1) towards Nouméa. Continue on this road for approximately 2.5 hours, enjoying the scenic views. Once you reach Nouméa, follow the signs to the city center. Upon entering the city, look for Rue Guy Pètre. Place des Cocotiers will be on your right side. There is parking available nearby, but be mindful of parking regulations. Expect to pay around 200 XPF for parking depending on the duration.
Public Transportation
To reach Place des Cocotiers using public transportation, take a local bus from Canala to Nouméa. Buses are available throughout the day, and the journey will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive in Nouméa, disembark at the central bus station. From there, it is a short walk towards Rue Guy Pètre. Follow the street signs to Place des Cocotiers, which is just a few minutes walk from the station. The bus fare is approximately 600 XPF each way.
