Car
To reach Fort Teremba by car from Houaïlou, head southeast on Route Territoriale 1 (RT1) towards the town of Mouidou. Continue driving for approximately 20 kilometers until you see signs for Fort Teremba. The fort is located just outside of Mouidou. There is no entrance fee, but make sure to check the opening hours before your visit, as it operates from 9 AM to 4 PM daily.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the local bus from Houaïlou to Mouidou. Buses typically run several times a day; however, it's advisable to check the latest schedule as it may vary. Once in Mouidou, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach Fort Teremba, following the signs along the main road. Ensure to plan your return trip accordingly, as the last bus may leave in the late afternoon.
