Walking
If you're starting from the central area of Nouméa, head towards the Promenade Pierre-Vernier along the waterfront. Enjoy the sea views as you walk towards the Place des Cocotiers, which is a central square. From Place des Cocotiers, continue southeast along Rue de la République until you reach Rue Jean Jaurès. Turn left onto Rue Jean Jaurès and walk for about 200 meters. The Musée de la Ville de Nouméa will be on your right at 39 Rue Jean Jaurès.
