Bus
From the central bus station in Nouméa (Gare routière de Nouméa), take bus line 1 towards 'Koumac'. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Ouen Toro'. From the bus stop, walk towards the hill; the trailhead to Ouen Toro will be visible. The hike up to the peak will take about 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.
Walking
If you're near the Anse Vata beach area, head towards the north along the beach promenade. Follow the coastline until you reach the end of Anse Vata beach. From there, you will see a sign indicating the path to Ouen Toro. The walk to the base of the hill will take about 20 minutes, and the hike up will take an additional 20-30 minutes.

Rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in the city center. Head towards the Anse Vata beach and then follow the same route as the walking guide. Cycling to the base of Ouen Toro will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the base, park your bicycle and start the hike up the hill, which will take about 20-30 minutes.
