Car

From Ponérihouen, head southwest on Route de la Côte. Follow the signs towards Nouméa, approximately a 3.5-hour drive. Once you reach Nouméa, follow the signs to the ferry terminal at the Grand Récif. Here, you will need to park your car at the designated parking area and take a taxi boat to Amédée Lighthouse. The taxi boat ride lasts about 40 minutes and costs approximately 3,500 XPF per person (about 32 USD).

Public Transportation

Begin your journey by taking a local bus from Ponérihouen to Nouméa. The bus ride may take around 4 hours, depending on the service. Upon arriving in Nouméa, make your way to the Grand Récif ferry terminal. You can ask locals for directions if needed. At the terminal, purchase your ticket for the taxi boat to Amédée Lighthouse, which costs around 3,500 XPF per person (about 32 USD). The boat ride will take about 40 minutes.
