Car
If you're driving from Ponérihouen to Kuendu Beach, head south on Route de la Côte Est (D1) towards Nouméa. Continue for approximately 153 km, which will take about 2 hours. Once you reach Nouméa, follow the signs to the city center. From there, take Avenue James Cook. Kuendu Beach is located at 120 Ave James Cook, Nouméa. Parking is available near the beach, but be aware of any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
To reach Kuendu Beach via public transportation, take a bus from Ponérihouen to Nouméa. You can find the bus stop near the town center. The bus ride may take around 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on the schedule and stops. Once you arrive in Nouméa, you will need to take a local taxi or ride-share service to reach Kuendu Beach (120 Ave James Cook). The taxi fare should be around 1,500 to 2,500 XPF, depending on traffic.
