Start from the center of Poum and head south on the main road (Route du Sud) towards the city of Koumac. Continue on this road for approximately 80 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route de la Côte. Turn left onto Route de la Côte and drive for another 25 kilometers until you reach the port area where the taxi boats to Amédée Lighthouse depart. Look for signs indicating the taxi boat service to Amédée. The taxi boat ride takes around 30 minutes and typically costs around 4,000 XPF (New Caledonian Francs) per person for a return trip.

From Poum, take a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Koumac. Confirm with the driver that they can drop you off at the port area. Once you reach Koumac, you will need to walk to the port where the taxi boats to Amédée Lighthouse are located.
