Car
From the center of Thio, head south on Route de Thio (D22) towards Mu. Continue on D22 for approximately 14 kilometers. As you approach Mu, look for the signs directing you to Plage de Luengoni. The final destination will be at XC79+MG3, Mu, New Caledonia, which is well-marked. Ensure you have a GPS or a map application to help with navigation.
Public Transportation
Begin your journey by taking a local bus or shuttle from Thio to Mu. Check the local schedule for bus times, as they may vary. Once you arrive in Mu, you can either walk or take a taxi to Plage de Luengoni, located at XC79+MG3. The distance from the bus stop to the beach is about 2 kilometers, so be prepared for a short walk or wait for a taxi to take you directly.
Walking (from Mu)
If you prefer to walk from Mu, once you reach the town center, head southwest on the main road. Follow the signs towards Plage de Luengoni. The walk is approximately 2 kilometers and will take about 25-30 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated, especially if it’s a sunny day.
