Car
From Tiga, start by heading south on the main road towards Nouméa. After approximately 30 km, look for signs directing you to Yaté. Continue on the Route de Yaté for another 50 km. Once you enter Yaté, follow the signs for Blue River Provincial Park, which will direct you to 1 Rte du Pont Pérignon. The park entrance is well marked, and parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a local bus from Tiga to Nouméa. Once you arrive at the Nouméa bus terminal, transfer to a bus heading towards Yaté. The bus ride to Yaté takes about 1.5 hours. After arriving in Yaté, you can either take a taxi or walk approximately 5 km to reach Blue River Provincial Park at 1 Rte du Pont Pérignon. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may not run frequently.
Taxi or Rideshare
For a more convenient option, you can hire a taxi or use a rideshare service from Tiga directly to Blue River Provincial Park. This option is ideal if you are traveling in a group or with family. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Be prepared for costs that may range between 5,000 to 10,000 XPF (Pacific Francs) depending on the service and time of day.
