From Yaté, take the Route de Yaté heading northeast towards Nouméa. Continue on this road for approximately 130 kilometers (about 1 hour 45 minutes). As you approach Nouméa, follow the signs for Baie des Citrons and Anse Vata. Once you reach Anse Vata Bay, look for parking areas along the waterfront.

Start at the main bus station in Yaté. You will need to take a bus heading towards Nouméa. The bus ride takes around 2 to 2.5 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Nouméa, switch to a local bus that goes to Anse Vata Bay. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may vary. The cost for the bus from Yaté to Nouméa is usually around 400 XPF (about 3.50 USD), and the local bus to Anse Vata may cost an additional 200 XPF (about 1.75 USD).
