If you are driving from the central areas of Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee, head south on NH-10 S. Follow NH-10 S for approximately 11 miles until you reach the intersection with NH-103 E in Newbury. Turn right onto NH-103 E and continue for about 3 miles. You will see signs for Newbury Trail. Once you see the parking area for Newbury Trail, you can park your car and access the trailhead.

To reach Newbury Trail using public transportation, you will first need to take a bus from the Dartmouth area to New London. Check the schedule for the Upper Valley Transit bus service (UVT) that connects to the area. Once you arrive in New London, transfer to the Concord Coach Lines service heading toward Keene, and request a stop at the intersection of NH-103 and NH-10 in Newbury. From there, it is about a 1-mile walk to the Newbury Trail parking area. Note that public transport schedules may vary, so it's advisable to check the latest timings ahead of your trip.
