    From the center of Exeter, head east on Epping Road towards the bridge. Once you reach the bridge, cross over the Exeter River. Continue straight on Epping Road until you reach the junction with Route 108. Turn left onto Route 108 and follow it for about 11 miles. As you approach Portsmouth, you will see signs directing you to the city center. Once in Portsmouth, continue on Route 1B until you reach Hancock Street. Turn right onto Hancock Street and you will find the Strawbery Banke Museum located at 14 Hancock St, Portsmouth, NH 03801.

    Begin at the Exeter train station on Lincoln Street. Take the Amtrak Downeaster train heading towards Portland, and get off at the Portsmouth station.
