Walking
From the center of Hanover, head south on Main Street. Walk until you reach the intersection with Lyme Road. Turn left onto Lyme Road and continue walking for about 1.2 miles. You will pass by residential areas and some local shops along the way. After about 1.2 miles, Lyme Road will turn into Route 10. Keep left to stay on Route 10 and continue for another 4 miles. You will then arrive at the junction with Buttermilk Falls Rd in Ludlow, VT. Note that Buttermilk Falls is approximately 20 miles from Hanover, so consider taking a bus or arranging for a ride if the walk seems too long.

From Hanover, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Main Street. Take the Advance Transit bus route 'D' towards 'West Lebanon'. After about 20 minutes, get off at the 'White River Junction' stop. Transfer to the 'Green Mountain Transit' which will take you towards Ludlow. Make sure to check the latest bus schedules and routes as they may vary. The bus ride to Ludlow will take approximately 30 minutes, and from the bus stop in Ludlow, you can either walk to Buttermilk Falls (around 1 mile) or arrange a local taxi service.
