Walking
If you are starting from the Dartmouth College Green, head east on Hazen Street towards East Wheelock Street. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Observatory Road. Turn left onto Observatory Road and walk approximately 0.5 miles. Shattuck Observatory will be on your right at 15 Observatory Rd.
Public Transportation (Dartmouth Shuttle)
If you are near the Dartmouth College campus, you can catch the Dartmouth Shuttle that services the area. Look for the 'Campus' route which will take you close to the observatory. Get off at the Observatory stop and walk down Observatory Road for about 0.1 miles. Shattuck Observatory is located at 15 Observatory Rd.
Biking
For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops. Start from the downtown area and head east along Main Street until you reach East Wheelock Street. Turn onto East Wheelock and continue until you reach Observatory Road. Take a right onto Observatory Road and bike for about 0.5 miles to reach Shattuck Observatory at 15 Observatory Rd.
