Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from the center of Laconia. Head south on Main Street (NH-3) and continue for about 2 miles. Turn left onto Great Bay Lane. Ahern State Park will be on your right after about 0.5 miles. There is no parking fee at the park.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, you will need to take a bus to Laconia. Check local bus schedules for routes to Laconia. Once in Laconia, you can use a taxi or rideshare service to reach Ahern State Park at 43 Great Bay Lane, which is approximately 3 miles from the bus station. Estimate around $10-$15 for the taxi or rideshare from the bus station to the park.

    If you are near the Laconia area and prefer to walk or bike, you can follow the same route as if driving. Walk or bike along Main Street (NH-3) and turn onto Great Bay Lane.
