Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start your journey from any location within the Lakes Region. Navigate towards Route 16 North (White Mountain Highway). Continue on Route 16 North for approximately 20 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 302. Take a right onto Route 302 East and follow the signs for North Conway. After about 5 miles, turn left onto Echo Lake Road. The park entrance will be on your right. Be mindful that there may be parking fees at the entrance, so have cash or a card ready.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from your location to the North Conway area. The closest major bus service is the Concord Coach Lines, which operates routes to North Conway. Once you arrive at the North Conway bus station, you can either take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Echo Lake State Park. Depending on traffic, the taxi ride should take about 10-15 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance for return trips.

• Biking

  If you're an adventurous traveler, consider biking to Echo Lake State Park. From North Conway, head south on Route 16 for about 1 mile before taking a left onto Route 302 East. Continue for approximately 5 miles until you reach Echo Lake Road. The park is accessible by bike, and you'll enjoy scenic views along the way. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow bike safety rules. There are no specific fees for biking into the park.
