Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the center of Mount Monadnock. Head east on Main St toward East St. Turn right onto NH-124 E and continue for about 5 miles. After that, turn right onto Fitzwilliam Rd and follow it for about 2 miles. This road will become Rockwood Rd. Continue straight on Rockwood Rd for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the Little Monadnock Trailhead parking area on your left. Parking may be limited, so arrive early if possible.

Public Transportation
If using public transportation, take the Monadnock Community Transit (MCT) bus service from the nearest town center to Fitzwilliam. Check the MCT schedule for the route and times. Once you arrive at the Fitzwilliam stop, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile to the Little Monadnock Trail. Head south on NH-119 W, then turn left onto Fitzwilliam Rd, and finally right onto Rockwood Rd. Follow Rockwood Rd for about 0.5 miles until you reach the trailhead. Note that public transportation may have limited service, so plan your trip accordingly.
