If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, Bethlehem, NH. Head south on Main St towards the intersection with Route 302. Turn left onto Route 302 and drive for approximately 6 miles. Look for the Willey House Historical Site on your left, which marks the beginning of the access road to Mt Willey. Follow the signs for the Mt Willey Trail parking area. Parking is available at the trailhead, but be aware that it may fill up quickly during peak seasons.

For those using public transportation, take the Concord Coach Lines bus from Boston to Lincoln, NH. From Lincoln, you can use local taxi services or rideshare apps to reach Bethlehem, NH. Once in Bethlehem, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare to take you to the Willey House Historical Site, which is about a 15-minute drive. From there, you can access the Mt Willey Trail Parking area. Be sure to check bus schedules in advance as they may have limited service.
