Car
If you are driving from the center of Essex County, head south on Route 5 towards St. Johnsbury. Continue on Route 5 for approximately 30 miles until you reach Interstate 91. Take the exit for Interstate 91 South towards White River Junction. Merge onto I-91 South and continue for about 20 miles. Then, take exit 15 for I-89 North towards Burlington. Follow I-89 North for about 40 miles and take exit 18 for NH-104 East. Continue on NH-104 East for approximately 15 miles, then merge onto NH-3 North. After about 10 miles, turn left onto White Mountain Dr. The entrance to White Mountain National Forest will be on your right.

From Concord, you can catch a local bus service that goes towards Campton, NH. Confirm with the bus provider for the latest schedules and routes, as they may vary. Once you arrive in Campton, you may need to use a taxi or rideshare service to reach the entrance of White Mountain National Forest, located at 71 White Mountain Dr, Campton, NH 03223.
