Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start your journey on I-93 North. Take exit 34B for NH-3 N toward Lincoln. Continue on NH-3 N for approximately 2 miles until you reach the Flume Gorge Visitor Center at 852 Daniel Webster Hwy, Lincoln, NH 03251. There is a parking fee of $15 for the day. Once you park, head towards the Flume Gorge entrance to begin your hike.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, take the Concord Coach Lines bus service from Boston to Lincoln, NH. The bus will drop you off at the Lincoln bus station. From there, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to the Flume Gorge Visitor Center (approximately 3 miles away). Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may be limited. The entrance fee to the Flume Gorge is $15 per person.

  • Hiking

    Once you have arrived at the Flume Gorge Visitor Center, purchase your ticket and start your hike to Avalanche Falls. The trail to the falls is approximately 2 miles round trip and takes about 1-2 hours to complete. The trail is well-marked and offers stunning views along the way.
