Walking
From the Asbury Park Boardwalk, head south on Ocean Avenue. Continue walking until you reach 5th Avenue. Turn left on 5th Avenue and walk towards the train station. Once you reach the train station, you can take a NJ Transit train towards New York Penn Station. After arriving at Penn Station, transfer to the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) and take a train towards Jamaica Station. At Jamaica Station, transfer to the LIRR train heading towards Brooklyn. Get off at the Prospect Park station. You will find Prospect Park just a short walk away.

If you have a bike, start from the Asbury Park Boardwalk and head south on Ocean Avenue. Cycle along the beachfront until you reach 5th Avenue.
