Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from the Asbury Park Boardwalk, head west on Ocean Avenue towards 5th Avenue. Continue on Ocean Avenue until you reach the intersection with 5th Avenue. Turn left onto 5th Avenue and walk towards the train station. Once at the train station, use the pedestrian walkway to cross over to the other side of the tracks. From there, walk north on Memorial Drive until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and continue heading north until you reach the intersection with Route 35. At Route 35, turn left and follow the road until you reach the junction with Marconi Road. Turn right onto Marconi Road, and the Marconi Tower Historic Site will be on your left.

    From the Asbury Park train station, take a NJ Transit train heading towards Long Branch. Get off at the next stop, which is the Allenhurst station. From Allenhurst, you can either walk or take a local taxi service to the Marconi Tower Historic Site, which is approximately a 20-minute walk. Head west on Allen Avenue, then turn right onto Main Street. Continue north on Main Street, and at the intersection with Route 35, turn left. Follow Route 35 until you reach Marconi Road, then turn right. The historic site will be on your left.
