Once on the road, take Route 1 or I-95 depending on your proximity. If you come from the north (Newark area), you can take I-95 South. If you are coming from the south (Trenton area), take Route 1 North. As you approach Princeton, watch for signs indicating Princeton Battlefield State Park. Exit onto Mercer Rd, and you will find the park on your left.

    To reach Princeton Battlefield State Park via public transportation, take NJ Transit’s train service. You can board a train from major stations such as Newark Penn Station or Trenton Station. Board a train on the North Jersey Coast Line or the Raritan Valley Line, and travel to Princeton Junction. Once you arrive at Princeton Junction, transfer to the 'Dinky' train service, which takes you to Princeton Station. From Princeton Station, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service to get to Princeton Battlefield State Park, which is approximately 2 miles away.
