Car
If you are driving, head to Cape May Point via Beach Avenue. From Cape May, take Beach Avenue south, which will turn into Lighthouse Avenue as you approach Cape May Point. Continue straight on Lighthouse Avenue until you reach the entrance to Cape May Point State Park. Parking is available at the park entrance.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the NJ Transit bus line 313 from Cape May to Cape May Point. The bus departs from the Cape May terminal and will take you directly to Cape May Point. The bus stop is located near the entrance to Cape May Point State Park. Please check the current schedule for bus times as they may vary.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, Cape May Point State Park is accessible via bike paths from downtown Cape May. Rent a bike from local shops in Cape May and follow the designated bike routes. The ride is approximately 3 miles and will take you through scenic views along the route. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow local biking regulations.
Walking
If you are close enough, consider walking to Cape May Point State Park. From the center of Cape May, it is about a 1.5-mile walk. Follow the sidewalk along Beach Avenue toward Cape May Point. Enjoy the beautiful views of the ocean and local architecture along the way. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
