Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start by getting on the Garden State Parkway (GSP). From any location in Central Jersey, navigate to the nearest GSP entrance. Once on the GSP, head south and take exit 117 toward Matawan/Route 34. Follow Route 34 north for about 1.5 miles, then turn right onto Main St. Continue on Main St for approximately 0.5 miles and then turn left onto Angelica Ct. The Matawan Man-Eater Mural is located at 24 Angelica Ct, which will be on your left.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Matawan Man-Eater Mural via public transportation, take a NJ Transit train on the North Jersey Coast Line towards Long Branch. If you are coming from New Brunswick or Trenton, you will need to transfer at South Amboy to the North Jersey Coast Line. Get off at the Matawan station. From the Matawan station, you can take a local taxi or rideshare (like Uber or Lyft) to 24 Angelica Ct, which is about a 5-minute drive from the station. Alternatively, you can walk; it’s approximately a 20-minute walk from the station.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can bike to the mural from the Matawan train station. Head northwest on Main St from the station, then turn left onto Angelica Ct. It's about a mile ride and should take around 10 minutes. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic laws and bike paths.
