Car
If you are traveling by car from anywhere in Central Jersey, you can take the Garden State Parkway (GSP) or Route 1. Follow signs for Newark. If you are coming from the south, merge onto I-95 N, then take exit 15 towards I-78 W. Merge onto I-78 W, then take exit 57 for US-1 N toward Newark. Continue on US-1 N, then take exit for I-280 E toward Newark. Once on I-280, take exit 15B for Route 21 N. Merge onto Route 21 N, and then take exit for Thomas Carmichael Dr. Follow Thomas Carmichael Dr to Weequahic Park, which will be on your right. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Weequahic Park via public transportation, take NJ Transit from various Central Jersey locations to Newark Penn Station. From Newark Penn Station, you can take the NJ Transit 1 or 27 bus towards Weequahic Park. Get off at the stop near Thomas Carmichael Dr. The bus fare is typically around $2.75-$3.00, and the ride from the station will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.
