    From any location in Delaware Bayshore, head towards Route 30. If you are near the town of Cape May, take the Garden State Parkway North. Once you reach Exit 50, merge onto Route 206 North. Follow the signs for Hammonton. Continue on Route 206 until you reach the intersection with Route 30. Turn right onto Route 30 East. Next, take the exit for Batsto Village; this will lead you directly to Batsto Road. Wharton State Forest is located at 31 Batsto Rd, Hammonton, NJ 08037. There is no entrance fee for the park.

  • Public Transportation

    If you're using public transportation, take the NJ Transit train from any station along the Atlantic City Line towards Philadelphia. Disembark at Hammonton Station. From Hammonton Station, you may need to use a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach Wharton State Forest, which is approximately 15 minutes away by car. Expect to pay around $15-$20 for the taxi or rideshare service.
