Walking
If you're starting from the Hoboken Terminal, exit the terminal and head east towards the waterfront. Walk along the Hudson River on the Hoboken waterfront walkway. Continue walking north for about 1 mile until you reach the edge of the city. You will see signs directing you towards the PATH train station. Take the PATH train to 33rd Street in Manhattan.

Public Transit
From the Hoboken Terminal, board the NJ Transit Light Rail heading towards Tonnelle Avenue. Get off at the 8th Street station (approximately 4 stops). From there, head north on 8th Street towards Washington Street. After reaching Washington Street, turn left and walk towards the PATH train station located at 14th Street and Hudson Place. Take the PATH train to 33rd Street in Manhattan.

From Hoboken, walk to the Hoboken Ferry Terminal located at 14th Street and the Hudson River. Board the NY Waterway ferry heading to 39th Street in Manhattan. The ferry ride takes about 8-10 minutes. Once you arrive at the 39th Street terminal, walk east towards the East River, and you will find the East River Esplanade.
