If you are near the Paterson Museum at 2 Market Street, head southeast on Market Street towards McBride Avenue. Turn right onto McBride Avenue and walk until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn left on Main Street and continue walking until you reach the Paterson train station. From the Paterson train station, take the NJ Transit train towards New York Penn Station. Once you arrive at New York Penn Station, transfer to the subway. Take the A, C, or B train from 34th Street-Penn Station towards 125th Street. Get off at 125th Street Station and transfer to the M10 bus towards the South Bronx. After about 10 stops, get off at the bus stop at 7th Avenue and 120th Street. Walk west on 120th Street until you reach Mount Morris Park West. Marcus Garvey Park will be on your right.
Public Transit

Start at the Paterson Bus Terminal located at 400 Broadway. Take the NJ Transit bus #190 heading to New York Port Authority. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. From there, walk to 42nd Street and take the A or C subway lines towards 125th Street. After 8 stops, get off at the 125th Street Station. From there, you can take the M10 bus towards the South Bronx. Get off at the bus stop at 7th Avenue and 120th Street. Walk west on 120th Street until you reach Mount Morris Park West. Marcus Garvey Park will be on your right.
Biking

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service in Paterson. Start at the Great Falls National Historical Park and head east on McBride Avenue. Stay on McBride Avenue until you reach Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and follow it until you reach the Paterson train station. Continue through the same route as mentioned for the train option, but instead of taking public transit, continue biking on 125th Street until you reach Mount Morris Park West. Marcus Garvey Park will be on your right.
