Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Asbury Park Boardwalk, walk north along the boardwalk until you reach 5th Avenue. Turn left onto 5th Avenue and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and follow it until you reach the NJ Transit train station. From there, take the train towards New York Penn Station. After approximately 40 minutes, disembark at the Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College station. Exit the station and head east on Flatbush Avenue. Turn left onto Avenue H and walk until you reach East Drive. Turn right onto East Drive, and you will find Prospect Park Boathouse at 101 East Dr.

• Public Transit

  From the Asbury Park train station, take the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line train towards New York Penn Station. After about 40 minutes, transfer at the Secaucus Junction to the NJ Transit train towards the Atlantic City Line and disembark at the Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College station. After exiting the station, walk east on Flatbush Avenue. Turn left onto Avenue H, and then right onto East Drive, which will lead you directly to Prospect Park Boathouse at 101 East Dr.

• Bicycle

  If you have a bicycle, you can ride from Asbury Park to the Prospect Park Boathouse by first heading north on the boardwalk. Once you reach 5th Avenue, turn left and follow it to Main Street. Take Main Street to the NJ Transit train station, where you can board a train towards New York Penn Station. After about 40 minutes, get off at the Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College station. From there, you can ride east on Flatbush Avenue, then left onto Avenue H, and finally right onto East Drive, which will take you to the Boathouse.
