Getting There

Walking

From the Red Bank Train Station, head southeast on W Front St toward Maple Ave. Continue walking straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Broad St. Turn right on Broad St and walk for about 0.2 miles. You will then reach the intersection with N Maple Ave. Continue straight to stay on Broad St until you reach the intersection with W Front St. Now, turn left onto W Front St and continue walking until you reach the Red Bank Marina. Cross the bridge over the Navesink River and continue walking straight. After crossing the river, you will see signs pointing towards the local bus stop. From there, take the NJ Transit bus heading towards New York City. After approximately 1 hour, disembark at the Canal St stop in Manhattan. Seward Park is located at the intersection of Canal St and Essex St, just a short walk from the bus stop.
Public Transportation

From your location in Red Bank, make your way to the Red Bank Train Station. Purchase a ticket for the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line train towards New York Penn Station. Once on the train, enjoy the scenic ride, which takes about 1 hour. Upon arrival at New York Penn Station, exit the train and follow the signs to the subway station. Take the 1 train (red line) downtown to the Canal St subway station. Exit the subway station and head east toward Essex St. Seward Park will be on your left at the intersection of Canal St and Essex St.
Bicycle

If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from a local bike-sharing service in Red Bank. Start from the Red Bank Train Station and head southeast on W Front St. Follow the road until you reach the riverfront path. Continue riding along the river for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the Monmouth County Park System trail. Follow the bike trail signs leading to the New Jersey Transit station. After approximately 30 minutes of biking, you will reach the New Jersey Transit station where you can take the train towards New York. Upon arriving in New York, follow the previous walking directions to reach Seward Park.
