Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Paterson Museum, head southwest on Broadway toward Market St. Continue on Broadway for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 20. Turn right onto Route 20 and walk for about 0.3 miles. You will then take a left onto Main St. After about 0.4 miles, you will come to the Paterson train station. From there, take the NJ Transit train heading to New York Penn Station. Once you arrive at Penn Station, follow the signs to the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) or Amtrak train that will take you to New York City. Upon arrival at New York, exit the station and walk toward 34th Street. From there, you can catch a subway line toward Wall Street. Get off at the Wall Street subway station and walk east towards Peter Minuit Plaza, which is near the waterfront.

  • Public Transportation

    Start at the Paterson Bus Terminal located at 100 Broadway. Board the NJ Transit bus #190 towards New York City. The bus will take you directly to Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City. Once at the terminal, head to the subway entrance. Take the A train towards Manhattan and get off at the Fulton Street Station. From there, walk east to the waterfront area where you will find Peter Minuit Plaza, located at New York, NY 10004.
