    From High Point State Park, head southwest on High Point Rd toward NJ-23 S. After about 2.5 miles, turn left onto NJ-23 S. Continue on NJ-23 S for approximately 6 miles. Take the exit toward Ringwood/Woodland Park. Merge onto Greenwood Lake Turnpike. After about 1 mile, turn right onto Northwood Dr. Apshawa Preserve will be on your left at 4 Northwood Dr, West Milford, NJ 07480.

    Public Transportation

    From High Point State Park, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to the nearest public transportation hub, which is located in Warwick, NY. From there, take the Short Line Bus towards New York City. Get off at the stop for West Milford. Once you arrive in West Milford, you will need to arrange for a local taxi or rideshare to reach Apshawa Preserve at 4 Northwood Dr, as public transportation options do not go directly to the preserve.

    Bicycle

    If you are cycling from High Point State Park, take High Point Rd south until you reach NJ-23 S. Follow NJ-23 S for about 6 miles, then turn right onto Greenwood Lake Turnpike. After about 1 mile, turn right onto Northwood Dr, and Apshawa Preserve will be on your left at 4 Northwood Dr, West Milford, NJ 07480. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all cycling safety guidelines.
