From High Point State Park, head southeast on Route 23 towards Route 517. Follow Route 23 until you reach Route 517 South. Continue on Route 517 South for about 10 miles. Then, turn right onto Raritan River Rd. After about 2 miles, you will arrive at Ken Lockwood Gorge Wildlife Management Area, which will be on your left.

To reach Ken Lockwood Gorge Wildlife Management Area via public transportation, first, take NJ Transit Bus 74 from High Point State Park to the nearest major station, which is in Newton, NJ. From Newton, transfer to NJ Transit Train on the Morristown Line towards Hackettstown. Get off at the Long Valley station. From there, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Ken Lockwood Gorge Wildlife Management Area, located at Raritan River Rd, Califon, NJ, approximately 8 miles away.
