    From anywhere in the Skylands Region, take Route 287 South. Merge onto Route 24 East towards Morristown. Continue on Route 24 for about 5 miles. Take the exit for Route 510 towards Mendham. Continue straight onto Mendham Road and then make a right onto Pleasant Valley Road. The Schiff Natural Lands Trust/Schiff Nature Preserve will be on your left at 339 Pleasant Valley Rd, Mendham Township, NJ 07945. There is free parking available on-site.

    If you are using public transportation, take NJ Transit train from any Skylands Region station towards Morrisville. Get off at the Morristown station. From Morristown, you can catch a NJ Transit bus (Route 872) towards Chester. Ask the driver to drop you off at the closest stop to Pleasant Valley Road. From there, it is a short walk (approximately 1 mile) to the preserve. Note that schedules may vary, so check the NJ Transit website for the latest information.
