Car
From the High Point State Park Visitor Center, head southwest on Route 23. Continue for approximately 10 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 80. Merge onto Route 80 East. Take Exit 58B toward Route 20 South, and follow the signs for Paterson. Continue on Route 20 South for about 3 miles. You will then turn right onto Valley Road. Lambert Castle will be on your right at 3 Valley Rd, Paterson, NJ 07503. Parking is available on-site; check for any parking fees.
Public Transportation
From High Point State Park, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to get to the nearest train station, which is the Sussex County Transit located in Newton, NJ. Once there, take the NJ Transit train to Paterson Station. From Paterson Station, you can either walk to Lambert Castle, which is about a 1.5-mile walk (head west on Broadway, then south on Valley Road) or catch a local bus (NJ Transit Bus #153) that stops near Valley Road. Be sure to check the NJ Transit schedule for current timings.
