Scenic Overlook: A Breathtaking View of Nature's Splendor

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Paterson Train Station, exit the station and head southwest on Market St toward Broadway. Continue on Market St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with McBride Ave. Turn left onto McBride Ave and continue walking for another 0.5 miles. You will see signs for the Great Falls National Historical Park. Follow the signs to the park entrance. Once you enter the park, continue straight until you reach the scenic overlook area. The entire walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes.

• Public Transportation

  From the Paterson Train Station, take NJ Transit bus #83 toward Clifton. Get off at the stop on Park Rd, which is approximately a 15-minute ride. After getting off the bus, walk a short distance uphill toward the Scenic Overlook. Follow Park Rd as it leads toward the overlook area. The total travel time, including the bus ride and walking, should take around 30-40 minutes.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, you can start from the Paterson Train Station. Head southwest on Market St, then turn left onto McBride Ave. Continue biking on McBride Ave for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance of Great Falls National Historical Park. Enter the park and follow the designated biking paths to reach the Scenic Overlook. The biking route should take approximately 15-20 minutes.
