Once you reach the parking area near the High Point Monument, continue past the monument area on Monument Road. Look for parking near the High Point Lookout, which is just a short walk from the parking area. The coordinates for High Point Lookout are approximately 41.321994, -74.660383.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a NJ Transit train to the nearest station, which is the Sussex Station. From there, you will need to arrange for a taxi service or rideshare app to reach High Point State Park. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you can follow the same directions as those traveling by car: continue on High Point Park Road for about 3 miles to reach the lookout area. Please note that taxis or rideshare services may incur additional costs.
Walking
If you are already in High Point State Park and wish to walk to High Point Lookout, head towards the High Point Monument and take the path leading from the monument towards Monument Road.
