Start at the Hoboken Terminal, which is located at 1 Hudson Place, Hoboken, NJ 07030. Exit the terminal and head towards the waterfront by following the signs to the Hoboken Waterfront Walkway. Once you reach the walkway, turn left and continue walking along the waterfront. You will enjoy views of the Manhattan skyline as you walk. Continue on the pathway until you reach the end of the Hoboken waterfront, which will take you approximately 20-25 minutes. After you reach the end, you will need to cross the Hudson River at the PATH station. From here, take the PATH train towards World Trade Center. Once you arrive at the World Trade Center station, transfer to the 1 subway line towards Van Cortlandt Park-242 St. Get off at the 34th St-Penn Station stop and walk towards the 12th Ave. Exit the station and walk west towards 12th Ave. Continue walking until you reach 555 12th Ave, Pier 84, where you will find the Manhattan Kayak Co.

Disembark at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, which is located at 625 8th Ave, New York, NY 10018. Once you exit the terminal, make your way to the 8th Ave subway station and take the A train downtown. Get off at the 34th St-Penn Station stop and transfer to the 1 subway line towards South Ferry.
