Walking
From the Hoboken Terminal, exit the station and head towards the waterfront. Walk along the Hudson River promenade until you reach the PATH train station. Take the PATH train to Newark. Once you arrive at Newark Penn Station, exit the station and head east on Market Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street, and the Newark Public Library will be on your left at 5 Washington St.
Public Transit
From Hoboken, walk to the Hoboken Terminal and take the NJ Transit train towards Newark. Get off at Newark Penn Station. After exiting the station, take the NJ Transit Light Rail towards Broad Street and get off at the Washington Street station. Walk south on Washington Street for about two blocks, and the Newark Public Library will be at 5 Washington St, on your left.
