Getting There

  • Ferry

    From Hoboken Terminal, walk towards the waterfront and locate the NY Waterway Ferry terminal. Purchase a ticket to Brooklyn, which typically takes around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Brooklyn, disembark at the Brooklyn Bridge Park/DUMBO stop. From there, you can either walk to Prospect Park or use public transportation.

  • Train

    Head to the Hoboken Terminal and catch a PATH train towards 33rd Street Manhattan. At the 33rd Street station, transfer to the 2 or 3 subway line towards Brooklyn. Get off at the Atlantic Av-Barclays Center station. From there, transfer to the Q subway line towards Coney Island and get off at the Prospect Park station. The park entrance is a short walk from the subway exit.

  • Bus

    Find the NJ Transit bus stop near Hoboken Terminal for the 126 route towards New York. Take the bus and get off at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. From there, transfer to the subway and take the Q line to the Prospect Park station. This route may take longer due to traffic, so plan accordingly.

  • Walking

    If you are feeling adventurous and up for a long walk, you can walk from Hoboken to Brooklyn via the Brooklyn Bridge. Head to the PATH train station and take a train to World Trade Center. From there, walk towards the Brooklyn Bridge entrance. Enjoy the scenic walk across the bridge, and once you reach the Brooklyn side, follow signs to Prospect Park, which is about a 30-minute walk from the bridge.
