Ferry
From Hoboken, head to the Hoboken Terminal located at 1 Hudson Place. Once there, look for the NY Waterway ferry service. Purchase a ticket to Brooklyn. Board the ferry, and enjoy the scenic ride across the Hudson River. The ferry will take you to the Brooklyn Army Terminal in Brooklyn. From there, you can take a short taxi or rideshare service to Brooklyn Heights.
Train
Make your way to the Hoboken Terminal at 1 Hudson Place. Purchase a PATH train ticket to the World Trade Center station in Manhattan. Once you arrive at the World Trade Center, transfer to the 2 or 3 subway line heading towards Brooklyn. Get off at the Clark Street station or Borough Hall station, both of which are close to Brooklyn Heights. From either station, it’s a short walk to the beautiful promenade in Brooklyn Heights.
Bus
Walk to the nearest bus stop on Washington Street or Newark Street. Look for a NJ Transit bus heading towards New York City. You can take the bus to the Port Authority Bus Terminal. From there, transfer to the subway. Take the A or C train to Jay St-MetroTech, and then switch to the R train to get to Court St station. From Court St, it's a short walk to Brooklyn Heights.
Walking
If you are up for a longer walk, you can stroll along the Hudson River waterfront. Start from the Hoboken waterfront promenade, walk south towards the PATH station, and cross the Hudson River via the PATH train to Manhattan. From there, take the subway to Brooklyn Heights as described above. This option allows you to enjoy the scenic views along the river.
