Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in central Hoboken, start by heading towards the Hoboken Terminal. From the terminal, exit onto Hudson Place and walk towards the waterfront. Continue walking along the Hudson River waterfront promenade until you reach 14th Street. Turn left onto 14th Street, and continue walking until you reach the intersection with River Road. At River Road, turn right. Follow River Road as it curves, and you will begin to see signage for Weehawken Dueling Grounds. The park is located at the end of River Road, just a short walk away from the waterfront.

  • Public Transit - Bus

    From Hoboken, you can take the NJ Transit bus. Head to the nearest bus stop at 1st Street and Washington Street. Board the NJ Transit bus #126 or #128 towards Weehawken. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop for 'Boulevard East at 19th Street.' From there, you can walk towards the Dueling Grounds by heading northwest along Boulevard East until you reach the intersection with the park.

  • Ferry

    Take the NY Waterway ferry from Hoboken Terminal to Weehawken. Board the ferry heading to the Weehawken Port Imperial terminal. The ferry ride takes about 5 minutes. Once you arrive at the Port Imperial terminal, exit and walk towards the waterfront promenade. Continue walking north along the promenade until you reach the Weehawken Dueling Grounds.
