Getting There

    From Island Beach State Park, exit the park and head northwest on Route 35. Continue on Route 35 for approximately 7 miles until you reach the junction with Route 72. Take the Route 72 East exit towards Manahawkin. Follow Route 72 for about 8 miles, then merge onto Route 9 North. Continue on Route 9 for about 6 miles until you reach Barnegat Light. Look for Broadway, and turn left. The Barnegat Lighthouse State Park will be located at 208 Broadway, Barnegat Light, NJ 08006.

    If you are using public transportation, you can take the NJ Transit bus route 137 from the nearest station to Island Beach State Park. The bus will take you to the Manahawkin transit center.
