From Island Beach State Park, exit the park and head northwest on Route 35. Continue on Route 35 for approximately 7 miles until you reach the junction with Route 72. Take the Route 72 East exit towards Manahawkin. Follow Route 72 for about 8 miles, then merge onto Route 9 North. Continue on Route 9 for about 6 miles until you reach Barnegat Light.
