From Jersey City, head to the PATH train station. The Journal Square PATH station is a good starting point. Take the PATH train towards World Trade Center and get off at the 33rd Street station. Transfer to the A or C subway line at the 33rd Street station towards Brooklyn. Get off at the Jay St-MetroTech station and transfer to the R subway towards Bay Ridge-95th St. Get off at the Court St station and walk to the Borough Hall subway station to transfer to the 2 or 4 subway line towards Flatbush Av-Brooklyn College. Get off at the Church Av station and transfer to the B or Q subway line towards Coney Island-Stillwell Av. Finally, get off at the Prospect Park station and walk to 200 Eastern Pkwy, which is the Brooklyn Museum.
Bus
From the PATH station at Journal Square, take the NJ Transit bus #119 towards New York Port Authority. Get off at the last stop at Port Authority Bus Terminal. From there, take the MTA subway line E towards World Trade Center and transfer at the 34th St-Penn Station to the A or C line towards Brooklyn.
