Getting There

PATH Train
From any location in Jersey City, head to the nearest PATH train station. If you're near the waterfront, the Exchange Place PATH Station is a good option. Take the PATH train towards World Trade Center. After approximately 15 minutes, disembark at the World Trade Center station. From there, follow the signs to the Oculus and exit onto Church Street. Walk north on Church Street, then turn left onto Liberty Street. Continue walking until you reach the subway station at 1 World Trade Center. Take the E train towards World Trade Center for one stop and get off at 34th Street-Penn Station.

Ferry
If you prefer a scenic route, head to the Liberty State Park Ferry Terminal. You can take a light rail or a short walk to the terminal. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Manhattan. Once on the ferry, enjoy the views of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Disembark at the Battery Park City terminal. From there, walk north along the Hudson River Greenway until you reach the entrance to Central Park. Continue into the park and look for Gapstow Bridge, which is located near the southeast corner of the park.

Locate a NJ Transit bus stop near you. Buses like the 119 or 120 travel towards New York City. Board the bus and pay your fare (exact change or a ticket). Once you arrive at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown Manhattan, exit the terminal and head east towards 8th Avenue. Walk north on 8th Avenue until you reach Central Park South. Turn left and walk along the southern edge of Central Park. Continue until you reach Gapstow Bridge, which is located at the southern end of the park.
